The Stone Parlour

The Stone Parlour was divided horizontally in the 16th century, building into three levels, and the windows altered.

The furniture is mainly 17th century oak.

The carpets are reproductions of early Turkish designs.

The room retains its original floor, under part of which was an entrance to subterranean tunnels that ended in a wood at a distance, much of which survive.
