WORKAID

Since 1986, WORKAID has been fighting poverty by helping people to help themselves. Through our partnership with verified vocational training centres, both in the UK and East Africa,  we have assisted over 100,000 disadvantaged people with the provision of tools and equipment, so that they are able to learn a skilled trade and earn a living.
With the support of almost 300 volunteers, our Chesham workshop processes around 80 tonnes of donated goods every year.  Anything not appropriate for the Skills Training Centres is sold in The WORKAID SHOP to help raise funds.
THE WORKAID SHOP has rapidly gained an excellent reputation as the place to go to find good quality haberdashery, tools and gardening equipment. The shop is open Thursday to Saturday, 10 am to 4pm, please do come and have a look.
We are located at 71 Townsend Road, Chesham, HP5 2AA.
