How to Find us

By Road

From the M25

From Junction 18 of the M25 travel approximately 2 miles in the direction signposted for Amersham, then follow the signposts for Chenies to the right.

From the M40

Take the Beaconsfield exit (junction 2) and follow the A355 for Amersham, then the A404 for Watford. The turning for Chenies is left off the A404 a mile after Little Chalfont.

The Manor House and garden are signposted from the green in the centre of the village. There is ample free parking at the Manor.

By Rail

From Central London

Take either the Metropolitan tube line from Baker Street (45 minutes) or the Chiltern railways line from Marylebone Station (30 minutes) to Chorleywood. Chenies is a 30 minute walk up the hill or a 5 minute taxi ride. To book a taxi phone Tudor Cabs at Chorleywood: 01923 774466.

Facilities

On open days delicious home-made teas and freshly-baked cakes are always available with cream teas and sandwiches to order.

A range of interesting and unusual gifts, together with postcards of the house and garden and the guide book are available in the Manor shop.

A selection of choice and unusual plants, including a variety of those grown in the gardens are available from the plant stall. The greatest variety can be found at the annual plant fair.

Disabled Access

22 individual Tudor cut brick chimneys distinguish the Manor House at Chenies

From the car park there is disabled access to the garden, tea room and lavatory for the disabled, but we regret that there is no wheelchair access through the house.
